Mass Kill in Cash

The massacre in Naliboki ( Belorussian. Tragedy ў Nalibokah ) - massacre perpetrated by detachments of Soviet and Jewish partisans over the Polish population of the village of Naliboki [1] (in Nalibokskaya Pushcha , now the territory of Belarus ) May 8, 1943 . The massacre killed 128 people, including three women, several teenagers and a 10-year-old boy. The reason for the attack was the creation by the local population of a self-defense detachment and cooperation with the Polish Army Craiova . According to the Institute of National Memory of Poland , the local cell was ultimately offered to submit to the partisan center in Moscow, but they refused, which served as a reason for the punitive raid [2] . Directly the reprisal was preceded by a shootout of partisans with local residents [3] . After the massacre, partisans stole 100 cows and 70 horses from the village [4] .
