Biography
He was born in 1922 in the village of Gusarovskoye [1] [2] now in the Otradnensky District of the Krasnodar Territory (according to other sources - in the Malinino Farm of the Timashevsky District [3] ) in a peasant family. Later he lived with his family in Armavir .
Since childhood, dreamed of becoming a pilot. He tried to enter a military school, but was rejected due to flat feet . He graduated from two courses in the design department of the Taganrog Aviation College . At the same time he was engaged in a flying club, the first independent flight made on April 12, 1940 on the U-2 . In the Soviet Army since 1940. He graduated from the Mikhailovsky Military Aviation Pilot School in the Special Kiev District , in 1941 - the Voroshilovgrad Military Pilot School , in 1944 - the Krasnodar Military Aviation Pilot School .
On the fronts of World War II from July 1944 . He fought on the IL-2 . He participated in the Iasi-Chisinau , Budapest , Balaton and Vienna military operations. He liberated Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Austria. The flight commander of the 707th assault aviation regiment ( 189th assault aviation division , 17th air army , 3rd Ukrainian front ), by May 1945, lieutenant Pashchenko had completed 130 (100 successful) sorties with a combat raid of 109 hours 47 minutes, dropped 38,650 kg of bombs on enemy troops, equipment and units of resistance, conducted 4 air battles with enemy fighters, shot down two enemy aircraft ( Me-109 and FV-190 ). He left the reserve in 1973 with the rank of colonel . He worked as a military instructor in Tiraspol at the school, chairman of the committee of the DOSAAF sewing factory. During the years of perestroika, he actively participated in the revival of the Black Sea Cossack army , in the 1990s he was chosen as his first chieftain . During the conflict in Transnistria , being in this rank, he led the creation of Cossack units to preserve the territorial integrity of Transnistria and protect it from nationalists; For his active position, he was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Transnistria . "
In 1996, due to the instability of the situation, he went to Novouralsk to his eldest daughter Lyudmila. In October 2009, the family moved to Yaroslavl . He was married, two daughters Lyudmila and Elena, two grandchildren Oleg, Vladislav and granddaughter Violetta, four great-grandchildren Kirill Vadim, Vitaly and Vladimir.
