3-time champion of Argentina ( 1931 , 1935 , 1937 ). As part of the national team, he participated in the Olympics of 1935, 1937 and 1939. He participated in several international tournaments in Mar del Plata ; best results: 1934 - 3rd – 6th; 1949 - 6-9th; 1956 - 5th place.
His brother Julio was also a chess player.
