Biography
Evgeny Burenkov was born on December 7, 1924 in the village of Maloe Polozovo (now Gagarinsky district , Smolensk region ).
Member of World War II from October 1942 [1] . He served at the 28th air base of the Baltic Fleet Air Force, located on the island of Lavensaari . At first he was a fighter of a rifle company, and then - a base commissar. Participated in the defense and lifting of the siege of Leningrad, the liberation of the Baltic states. He finished the war with the rank of senior sergeant [2] .
In 1946-1950 he was a reader and presenter of the ensemble of the Baltic Fleet . In 1949, Burenkov entered the Shchepkin Theater School , which he graduated in 1954, and was immediately enrolled in the Moscow Maly Theater . From August 1, 1954 until the end of his life, he was an artist of the Maly Theater. At the same time, he acted in films a lot. The winning appearance contributed to the fact that on the screen he created, first of all, positive characters of the Soviet era, he was often invited to perform domestic roles, mainly military and party leaders [3] . E. Burenkov played Marshal Vasilevsky in several military films [4] .
Evgeny Dmitrievich died on April 19, 1989 . He was buried in the Moscow region, on the 93rd section of the Dolgoprudnensky (Central) cemetery , on the Old (Northern) territory. [four]
