Martinez Hey

Martinez was born in Glendale, California. His family called him “Hey” (from English - “A”), “Little Adolfo” and “Little Hey” as a child to distinguish him from his father and grandfather. Over time, “Hey” became the name ^[2] . His blood flows the blood of the Spanish, Mexican and American Indians ^[3] .

Hey Martinez began his professional career at age 12 as a singer and won the title at the Hollywood Bowl Talent Competition. He graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Los Angeles . At school, he was a member of a rock band and played baseball for five seasons.

He starred in feature films, including Cowboys , Meetings Highway , and What We Cook. Most of his roles were on television. In 1978, he played the Hawk Indian in a mini-series about ABC pioneer American settlers. In the same series, his first wife, Winningham Mare, played. In 1979, he appeared in 3 episodes of the Century mini-series.

The role of Cruise Castillo in the television series " Santa Barbara " earned him worldwide fame and an Emmy Award in 1990.

He later appeared on the series Main Hospital, where he played FBI gangster and informant Roy De Lucca from 1999 to 2002 ^[4] . During his time on the series Main Hospital, he received three consecutive ALMA awards from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, he released the Fragrance and Thom CD.

In September 2008, Martinez played the role of Roy Montes in the TV series "One Life to Live" on ABC. In 2009, he plays the SI-FI Sheriff. In 2012-2017, he played the role of the villain Jacob "Night Horse" in the popular series " Longmayer ."

In 1981, Hey Martinez was married to actress Mayor Winningham (they divorced the same year). In 1982, he married his current wife Leslie Bryans, they have one son Dakota Lee (b. 07.25.1986) and two daughters Devon Makena (b. 07.06.1989) and Ren Farren (b. 13.09.1993).
