Biography
Born into a Jewish family. In 1934 he graduated from the Minsk Pedagogical Institute . December 6, 1939 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences [1] ; was one of the first candidates of historical sciences in general history prepared in the BSSR . The topic of the Ph.D. thesis is “Socio-Political Struggle in Rome of the 60s.” I century BC and the plot of Catilina "; in 1960 published in a separate monograph.
In 1947-1950 he headed the department of general history of the Minsk Pedagogical Institute [2] . In 1958, he went on a permanent job at the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University . Since 1961 - Doctor of Historical Sciences, since 1977 - Doctor of Philosophy. In 1979 he received the honorary title of Honored Scientist of the BSSR.
