Content
History
The team consists of Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor , his wife Marikuin Maandig , a former West Indian Girl soloist and composer Atticus Ross of 12 Rounds, with whom Trent Reznor collaborated. [5] [6] [7] [8] According to the participants themselves, their work was influenced by Cabaret Voltaire , Human League , PIL , Gang of Four , My Bloody Valentine , CAN . [9] The name of the group comes from the eponymous single of the pioneers of the industrial group Coil . [10] The group’s art director is Rob Sheridan , who previously worked with Nine Inch Nails .
In April 2010, it was announced that in the summer of 2010 the EP group will be released , consisting of 6 tracks. [11] On May 4, 2010, the debut single “ A Drowning ” was made available online. [12] On May 14, 2010, the official video “ The Space in Between ” was presented. The director of the video is Rupert Sanders . [13] [14] Singles are available for free download in the form of multi - track recordings for self- mixing or creating remixes .
In October 2012, Trent Reznor announced the release of the new single, Keep It Together [15] . On his Facebook page, he announced that the band is officially collaborating with Columbia Records to release a series of new releases, the first of which was released in November 2012 under the name An omen EP_ . A full-length album was released in early 2013 [16] .
