Nemyshlyansky district is the youngest district of modern Kharkov , formed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of April 12, 1973 under the name "Frunze District" from part of the territories of the Moscow , Ordzhonikidze and Komintern districts. The total area is 22.3 square kilometers, which makes it the smallest district of Kharkov. [one]
The population of the area is approx. 150 thousand people (a tenth of the population of the entire city).

It was formed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of April 12, 1973 from part of the territories of the Moscow, Ordzhonikidze and Komintern districts.
Administrative system
The right of the territorial community to independently resolve issues of local importance is exercised through the local government - the district council, the number of which is 54 deputies.
