Career

Simone Del Nero was born in Ortonovo , but his childhood passed in Carrara . He began his career at the Empoli club, for the basis of which he spent only 4 games. After that, Del Nero moved to Brescia . Initially, the footballer played for the youth squad of Brescia, speaking under the leadership of Luciano De Paola . After that, Del Nero moved to the Scottish club Livingston , but in it he could not win a place in the composition.

In 2002, Del Nero returned to Brescia. The following season, he became a player in the club’s core team. For his performances, Del Nero received a challenge to the Italian youth team, with whom he participated in the 2004 Olympics , where Italians won bronze medals. In the 2004/05 season, Brescia flew into Serie B. Del Nero, these years remained in the club, being an indispensable footballer, with the exception of half the season under Rolando Maran , who did not trust Simone and put him on the bench.

In the summer of 2007, Del Nero, in the status of a free agent, moved to Lazio , signing a contract for 5 years [2] . The first season in Lazio was unsuccessful for Del Nero: he received a serious injury due to which the disease developed, plantar fasciitis , and he underwent surgery [3] . The following season, Del Nero won his first, in his career, trophy, the Italian Cup , as part of the Bianco Celestia, in the final of which he reached the 80th minute, replacing Pasquale Foggia . In August, Del Nero won the Italian Super Cup .

In the second half of the 2011/12 season, Del Nero, on loan, played for the Cesena club [4] . On March 25, 2012, the Italian scored a goal in the Serie A match against Parma , which helped his team achieve a 2-2 draw. Prior to this, Simone scored a goal in the top division of Italy only 7 years ago, on May 15, 2005 in a game with Bologna .
