Adam Ruslanovich Tukhaev (born February 14, 1988 , Kerch ) is a Ukrainian chess player , champion and medalist of Ukrainian championships, a grandmaster ( 2007 ). Chechen by nationality [1] .

Career
Three times became the winner of the Ukrainian team championship (in 2007 - bronze, and in 2010 and 2012 - silver), as well as twice the bronze medalist (in 2005 and 2010) and twice the champion of the country in the individual event (in 2009 and 2012) [ 2] .
December 27, 2018 at the World Blitz and Rapid Championship , held in St. Petersburg , sensationally defeated the world chess champion Norwegian Magnus Carlsen in rapid speed [3] . In the course of the game Carlsen had an advantage, but did not follow the time of the game [4] .
