History

In 1999, a small church was built of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker . Thanks to the financial support of Gazprom, the church was built in a rather short period of time - 4 months, and on April 30, 1999 it was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia . The feast of the church on May 22 , the day of the transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas to the city of Bari . The temple was built in the style of old Russian architecture. Its facade is decorated with mosaic icons brought from Greece and made by the best masters of Athens . The main shrine of the temple is a particle of the relics of St. Nicholas, presented as a gift by the Metropolitan of Kuban and Yekaterinodar Isidor on the day of the consecration of the temple.
