Olenyi is a group of four islands in the central part of the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago ( Russia ). Administratively belong to the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory .

Located in the Kara Sea off the southern coast of the October Revolution Island in the Kurchavoy River Delta . The northernmost of the Deer lies at a distance of 800 meters from the southern cape of the island of the October Revolution - the Initial , the southernmost - is 4 kilometers away from it. The distance between the islands is from 150 to 700 meters.
All the islands of the group have an elongated shape from west to east with a length (from north to south) of 1.4 / 2.5 / 2.1 / 2.4 kilometers. The three northern islands are about 600-700 meters wide, the most southern - just over 400 meters. Free of ice. There are no significant elevations on the islands. On the southern coast of the most southern and second islands from the north there are cliffs up to 18 and 3 meters high, respectively. On all islands - stony placers. They do not have separate names.
