Biography
Being self-taught and working in an antique store, Ambrosius Grabowski collected rare Polish prints, as a result of which he was familiar with famous historians Jerzy Samuel Bandtke and Jan Pavel Voronich , who invited him to study the history of Krakow, folk Polish customs. In 1824, Ambrosius Grabowski established the authorship of the main altar of the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God in Krakow .
Ambrosy Grabowski is buried at the Rakovicky Memorial Cemetery in Krakow.

Ambrose Grabowski published numerous Kraków travel guides and books on Polish history. The most significant of them are:
