Although the animated series was broadcast in Japan, the original voice acting was done in Spanish. Most of the characters are dogs, with the exception of the cat Milady , the Bear Planchet (the servants of d'Artagnan) and some others. Constance Bonacieux in the Japanese version remained Constance ( Jap. コ ン ス タ ス ス Consutance ) , and in the Spanish and other versions (including the Soviet one) was renamed Juliet (in the French version, however, it again became Constance). As in the Soviet cartoon " Dog in Boots ", the German shepherd (Athos), St. Bernard (Porthos) and setter (Aramis) are respectively involved in the roles of musketeers.
