Delphic is a British electronic band from Manchester . Subscribed to the Polydor label. Their first single, “Counterpoint,” was released in April 2009 via R&S Records. The track was produced by Evan Pearson, who later co-produced their debut album Acolyte . The next single was the song “This Momentary,” released on Kitsuné Music . The clip for this song received three nominations at the UK Music Video Awards . The debut album was released on January 11, 2010 and took eighth place in the UK chart . Initially, Delphic existed as a trio, later became a quartet: Dan Hadley joined them as a drummer . The group played at festivals such as T In The Park, Reading and Leeds , Creamfields, Bestival. The team is also one of the fifteen that made it onto the prestigious BBC Sound of ... list.
