The Kopetdag mouse dormouse [1] , or the Trans-Caspian dormouse [2] or the mouse dormouse [3] ( lat. Myomimus personatus ) is a rodent of the family of the somniferous genus of mouse dormouse. A small and poorly studied species.

DescriptionThe length of the body of the mouse-shaped dormouse is 7.9–8.3 cm. The length of the tail is 5.3–6.6 cm. The color of the upper part of the body is gray, on the back there is a blurry dark streak. The bottom of the body is white.
The common dormouse in the mountain systems of Kopetdag in Turkmenistan and Iran . The main habitats are steppe and light forest biotopes of the foothills. Leads a terrestrial lifestyle. Active at dusk. In captivity, prefers animal food [1] [2] . A specific parasite is the mite Radfordia myomimusi [4] .
