Frederick II of Holstein-Gottorp ( German: Friedrich II von Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf ; April 21, 1568 - June 15, 1587 ) - the second Duke of Holstein-Gottorp .

Friedrich was the eldest son of the Duke Adolf of Holstein-Gottorp and Christina of Hesse-Kassel . He inherited the title after the death of his father in 1586, but he died shortly afterwards, having no heir, and the title passed to his brother Philip .
