- 01/15/1919 - 10/09/1922 - a private teacher of military topography at the 2nd Nizhny Novgorod Infantry School for command personnel, he also taught at regimental schools and temporary instructor courses, as well as at the Pedagogical Institute and the All-Education (lower geodesy).
- 10/09/1922 - full-time teacher of the Nizhny Novgorod Infantry School.
- 02/23/1924 - he died in Nizhny Novgorod. He was buried at the local Lutheran cemetery.
Charity
He was a member of a number of charitable societies. For his labors in the field of “humanity” he was awarded the Badge of the Russian Red Cross Society. [7]
Family
His brother: Ippolit Paulinovich [8] - from 04/14/1913 general from infantry , commander of the 14th army corps of the RIA; in the Red Army .
He was married (wife - Anna Pavlovna, nee Claus, died about 1900) and had 2 children. One of the sons - Vladimir - died in childhood, and the other - Boris Leonidovich Zhilinsky [9] [17 (29) .05.1890, Vilnius - 10/18/1961, Moscow] - a famous pianist, Russian composer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1944), student S. Lyapunov and K. Kip, was close to M. Balakirev , soloist of the All-Union Radio; buried in Moscow at the Novodevichy cemetery .

(which of the brothers was the holder of the Legion of Honor, not yet established).
