Elvira of Castile ( Spanish Elvira de Castilla , - ) is the illegitimate daughter of the king of Castile Alfonso VI the Brave from his wife Himena Munoz.

In 1094 Elvira was married to Count Raymond of Toulouse , one of the leaders of the 1st Crusade . Accompanied her husband on a campaign in the Holy Land, during which she gave birth to a son, Alfonso Jordan (he was so named after his baptism in the Jordan River). 12 years after the death of Raimund, in 1117 she remarried - Fernando Fernandez.
