Semenovskoe (Rostov district)

Semenovskoye is a village in the Rostov district of the Yaroslavl region on the banks of the Vyazovka River, directly behind which the Moscow-Yaroslavl Railway passes . Gvozdevo village is 1 km away, and Makarovo is a little further. The population as of January 1, 2007 is 14 people [1] .

History

In the XV century, this place was the estate of Prince Semyon Ivanovich Tyomkin , who gave it as a dowry for his daughter Maria, married to Prince Peter Ivanovich Katyrev . [2] It was part of the Kurakovschina . [3]
