Sochi Art Museum is a cultural and educational institution in the Central district of the city ​​of Sochi .

The building was designed by academician of architecture I.V. Zholtovsky in 1936 , intended for an administrative institution. The Art Museum is an architectural monument of federal significance.

Since 1972 , the Sochi Exhibition Hall has been located here, since 1976 - the Sochi Art Museum. The museum has collected about 6,000 exhibits of antique, Russian, Soviet, foreign art in the sections: painting, graphic arts, sculpture, arts and crafts, art crafts.

The permanent exhibition covers the period from the 1st century BC. e. before modern art, it represents the Mzymtinsky treasure , as well as such masters as V.E. Makovsky , M.K. Klodt , L.F. Lagorio , P.P. Konchalovsky , S.V. Gerasimov , P.V. Williams , I.I. Mashkov , S. Nekritin , N.I. Andronov , D.D. Zhilinsky .

In the exhibition halls monthly exhibitions are held devoted to the art of individual artists, creative associations representing collections of state and private collections. The museum has an art salon where you can buy works of art, art antiques, works of masters of jewelry, products of folk art crafts and the Kaliningrad Amber Factory.
