“Tomsk pig farm” is an enterprise that is part of the Siberian Agrarian Group agricultural holding. The pig complex is located in the village of Svetly , Tomsk.

The Tomsk pig farm (SKT) dates back to 1979, when the first livestock, 60 pigs from Saratov, was brought to an object still under construction. Over the past 30 years, 4 million 900 thousand 565 piglets were born and 298 057 tons of meat were produced at the pig farm.
Today, about 1000 people work at the pig farm. The pig complex consists of 3 workshops and a breeding farm, the total area of the complex is one and a half square kilometers. The capacity of the enterprise is 25,000 tons of pork per year. (this is more than 1% of pork production in Russia) [1] . The number of pigs is 166,000 [2] . Meat products produced from raw materials of the Tomsk pig farm are sold in almost all of Siberia [3] - in the Tomsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk regions, in the Krasnoyarsk and Altai Territories.
The enterprise itself is one of the largest [4] agricultural facilities in the Tomsk Region.
Since 2000, when a new management from the Siberian Agrarian Group came to the pig farm, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, production is being reconstructed [5] , the population is constantly growing. The pig complex "Tomsk" has the status of a selection and hybrid center.

At the Tomsk pig farm, pigs of three breeds are raised: Landrace , Duroc , Yorkshire .
