Jizzakh Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan

The Jizzakh regional committee of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan is the governing body of the Jizzakh regional party organization that existed in 1973-1988 and 1990-1991.

Jizzakh region was founded on December 29, 1973. Prior to this, the territory of the region was part of Samarkand, and from March 16, 1963 - of the Syr Darya regions. 09/06/1988 became part of the Syr Darya region, and the regional center was moved to the city of Jizzakh . Recreated 02.16.1990, from 1992 - Jizzakh province.
