Participation in wars
During the Italian Wars, he participated in the battle of Pavia (1525) and Melfe, as well as in a naval battle near Naples (1528). During the Religious Wars in France, he participated in the siege of Le Havre (1563) occupied by the British and the siege of Saint-Jean-d'Angeli (1569).
