World League 2002 - XIII draw of the commercial tournament of men's national volleyball teams, held from June 27 to August 18, 2002 .

The competition was attended by teams from 16 countries. The final part is played in Recife and Belo Horizonte . The winner was the Russian team .

Content

Competition System

In the intercontinental round, 16 teams were divided into four groups. Matches were held in 4 rounds (2 games each on their own and on someone else's sites). The teams that took 1st and 2nd places in their groups entered the final round; the Brazilian national team as an organizer was guaranteed a place in the Final Eight, regardless of the results of the intercontinental round.

The eight finalists were again divided into two groups. Teams that took 1st and 2nd places in round-robin tournaments in groups played the World League medals in the playoff system.
