Wolfe Brothers

Sirs John Wolf ( March 15, 1913 , London - June 28, 1999 , London ) and James Wolf ( 1919 , London - May 29, 1966 ) were two prominent British film producers .

John and James founded the production companies Romulus Films and Remus Films, which were active in the 1950s and 1960s. John and James Wolfe were the sons of British producer S. M. Wolfe (1879–1942), who was co-producer with Michael Balcon of two films by Alfred Hitchcock - “ Downhill ” in 1927 and Easy Behavior in 1928 . James Wolfe convinced Lawrence Harvey to become an actor.

James Wolfe committed suicide on May 29, 1966 according to the Internet Movie Database .
