Spoons (musical instrument)

Wooden spoons are a percussion musical instrument in Slavic culture. The game kit consists of 3 to 5 spoons of ladles, one of which is large. A large spoon is clamped by the handle in the bootleg, the rest is held between the fingers of one or both hands [1] . Sound is extracted by striking the convex sides of the scoops. The sound timbre depends on the method of sound extraction. In Belarus, the game traditionally uses only two spoons [2] .
