With the beginning of the Second World War, the infirmary was disbanded, and its personnel joined in parts of the Leningrad district , took part in the defense of Leningrad. Medical brigades were formed from doctors , nurses, and nurses and were sent to provide medical support to the border detachments, which reflected the onslaught of the fascist troops. In July-August 1970, due to the increase in the number of military units located in the medical support zone, the volume of work constantly increased and the hospital was transferred to a converted building with an area of 4130 sq. M., A former children's boarding school on ul. Field 14. On the former Hospital Street, apart from the Border Troops Hospital, there was a children's clinic, and Olitsky, the chief doctor of the Sestroretsk hospital, lived a little further in his house. Hospital Street went to the Officers' Street.
On the 100th anniversary of V. I. Lenin , a modern Freedom Square was formed on the site of the hospital and a building of the district executive committee was built. The streets Hospital and Officer ceased to exist. The square included the building Volodarsky 3, which became square. Liberty 3. Volodarsky Street became a bit shorter and starts from the building of the military registration and enlistment office.
In 1957, the 6th school (now Gymnasium No. 433) was a two-story school, and the monument to V. I. Lenin stood in front of it completely different. Volodarsky Street was very narrow and all was buried in the bushes of lilac and jasmine . It was a kind of business card Sestroretsk. The alley leading from the border hospital building was decorated with asters . begonias and gladioli . The head of the hospital, military doctor N. Chistyakov, a surgeon by profession, brought out more than 700 varieties of gladioli. Then in the country they were actively engaged in selection, it was necessary to solve the problem of not only feeding, but also planting trees and towns of our Motherland [3]
The modern view of the square was formed after the 70s of the 20th century, on the site of the Petropavlovskaya Square that was until 1917 [4] , Ofitserskaya Street and the area of private development closely adjacent to the Sestroretsky Lake Razliv . Primorskoe highway was laid along this territory, along which houses of the name of Nikita Sergeevich Khrushchev were built . Now it is Primorsky Boulevard Sestroretsk.
The area was formed after the fire in 1868 . In 1870, the domes of the newly rebuilt two Orthodox churches, the Lutheran church and the synagogue, were already visible above the buildings of the sister church.

A stone hotel building (until 1970, Volodarsky st. 3, now Svoboda Sq. 3) grew in Petropavlovskaya Square, which later had a treasury, barracks , officers' house, a hospital in the 50s of the 20th century, then a hostel for the military. In 1893, a wooden building of the Central School of Papers (parish school) was built, now a music school on Sq. Liberty, d. 2. In 1902, the building of a vocational school was built, now a square. Liberty d.4. In the place of the Church of Peter and Paul in 1937 a school building was built, and a monument was erected to Lenin, now Sq. Svoboda d. 6.
In accordance with the detailed planning project in Sestroretsk in the 70s of the XX century a community center is being created. On the shore of the lagoon of the lake, Spill designed by V. N. Scherbina in 1974 built the building of the Sestroretsk Communist Party of the Soviet Union , a district executive committee with a cinema and an exhibition hall. Here the author of the project retreated from the usual canons of structures of similar administrative buildings. The volume of the building is solved in such a way that it became a barrier between the lake space and the existing residential buildings. Its transitional parts, raised on supports, also form open courtyards , which promotes unity with the environment. The Intourist PTU building, built in 1978 by architects N. V. Kamensky and V. Khotin, does not violate the situation of this place. Its complex volume with an expressive silhouette completes this town-planning formation on the northern shore of the lagoon [6] .
