The Order of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomensky is the Order of the Russian Orthodox Church .

Content
History
- It was established by the definition of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on December 28, 1996 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Orthodox missionary Saint Innocent (Ivan Evseevich Popov-Veniaminov), Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomensky.
- In February 1999, the Order of the 1st degree was awarded to Patriarch Alexy II - for the first holy work for the benefit of the Russian Church [1] .
- In September 2008, the order of the first degree was awarded to Aman Tuleyev - for his great attention and enormous personal contribution to the revival of Orthodox culture in the Kuzbass Land
Statute of the Order
Reasons to award
The order is awarded to clergy and secular persons:
- for successful work and educational activities in missionary departments, theological educational institutions, in the media, state and municipal educational institutions,
- for the rehabilitation of victims of totalitarian sects.
The Order of the I degree is awarded to :
- Primate and hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church for missionary and educational ministry
- Primate and hierarchs of the Local Orthodox Churches - for missionary and educational ministry
- Prominent government and public figures for assisting in missionary service.
The Order of the II and III degrees are awarded to hierarchs , clergy and laity - for missionary and educational service.

The order has three degrees, with the award is awarded the sign of the order and diploma.
Wear Rules
The order is worn on the left side of the chest, and in the presence of other orders of the Russian Orthodox Church, it is located after the order of St. Seraphim of Sarov.
Description of the Order
I degree
The badge of the Order of the 1st degree is an eight-pointed slightly convex silver with gilding star formed by rays emanating from the center. In the center of the star is a round medallion with a gilded image of a missionary symbol (an eight-pointed cross towering above the revealed Gospel ) on a white enamel background. Around the medallion there is a dark blue enamel belt with the inscription in gilded letters around the circle: "For missionary work . "
II degree
The badge of the Order of the II degree is a silver gilded four-pointed cross with expanding ends and covered with blue enamel . In the center of the cross is an oval half-length image of St. Innocent made using the Rostov enamel technique. The right hand of the saint is blessing, in the left is the revealed gospel. The image is bordered by a convex gilded belt. Between the branches of the cross are 12 cubic zirconias .
III degree
The badge of the Order of the III degree is similar to the sign of the II degree, but in the center of the silver cross, in the oval, formed by a silver laurel wreath, there is a silver missionary symbol (an eight-pointed cross rising above the open Gospel) against a background of dark blue enamel. Zirconia between the branches of the cross are absent.
