Hagiography
Albert was born in the second half of the 11th century in Normandy. In childhood, Albert moved with his family to Montecorvino, Apulia. He later became bishop of Montecorvino. Being a bishop, he went blind, despite this he worked numerous miracles. Among believers gained popularity as a miracle worker.
