Khokhlovka is an architectural and ethnographic museum in the Perm Territory, founded in 1969. Opened to visitors on September 17, 1980. The museum is located on the picturesque banks of the Kama River , 43 km from Perm, near the village of Khokhlovka. This is the first open-air museum of wooden architecture in the Urals. It consists of 23 unique monuments of the late XVII - the first half of the XX century. On an area of 35 hectares there are various wooden buildings and structures brought here from various places of the Perm Territory and representing the best examples of the national building and artistic culture of the region. Many monuments house ethnographic interiors and exhibition complexes. AEM "Khokhlovka" is a branch of the Perm Museum of Local Lore .

The Khokhlovka Museum is one of the largest tourist attraction centers in the Perm Territory . In recent years, the museum has strengthened the shores of the bay and landscaped the promenade, lighting masts have been installed. A tea room is open for museum guests. At the same time, no new monuments appear in the museum, and many existing objects require serious restoration. Also underdeveloped tourist infrastructure in the museum area.
On February 15, 2017 the museum was transferred from the ownership of the Russian Federation to the ownership of the Perm Territory [1] .
