The height compensator is a transport device in the mines that compensates for the height when trolleys are displaced in the pit structure of the cage lift.
The working element of the compensator is a roller plate chain with pushers, which moves along the guides. The drive is located on the top platform, tensioning device - on the bottom. The holding rollers are installed along the entire length of the compensator, which are deflected by the trolleys during their movement on the ascent, and after passing through the trolleys they return to the primary position.
