Biography

Lutheran. The son of Baron Eduard Friedrich Ebergard von Goiningen-Güne (1779-1851), colonel of artillery and the Ezel Landrat, and Anna Eleanor von Aderkas, daughter of Lieutenant General A. A. von Aderkas . Brother of a member of the State Council, E. F. von Heiningen-Güne and Senator B.F. von Heiningen-Güne .

He graduated from the course at the Imperial College of Law .

He entered service on August 25, 1843 in the Department of the Herald of the Governing Senate , in 1858 he was a friend of the heraldmeister. He served in the Ministry of State Property, and for several years headed the St. Petersburg Chamber.

Valid State Councilor (04/22/1860), Privy Councilor (04/16/1867).

January 24, 1869 was appointed Simbirsk civil governor . He began his duties on February 5, 1869. On April 30, 1869, among 11 provinces, world judicial institutions and the Simbirsk district of magistrates opened in the Simbirsk province. On September 1, 1869, the institute of public school inspectors was established in the province. The first inspector in the entire province was appointed Ilya Nikolaevich Ulyanov .

On October 16, 1869, he was appointed to the post of managing director of the 4th branch of His Imperial Majesty’s Chancellery for the Establishment of Empress Maria . Judging by the presence magazines, he served as governor until February 5, 1870.

On April 24, 1888, he was promoted to acting Privy Councilor . He was an honorary guardian of the Board of Trustees of the Empress Maria’s Institutions for the St. Petersburg Presence, managing director of the Jägermeister part of the Court of his imperial highness, Prince Peter Georgievich of Oldenburg .

Baron Alexander Fedorovich von Heiningen-Güne died on October 25, 1911 in the city of St. Petersburg.
