Novogrudok County is an administrative unit of the Slonim , Lithuanian , Grodno and Minsk provinces , which existed in 1795 - 1920 . The center is the city of Novogrudok .

Administrative Division
In 1913 there were 23 volosts in the county: Veseluyubskaya, Gorodeyskaya (the center is the village of Gornaya Gorodeya), Gorodechanskaya, Gorodishchevskaya, Darevskaya (the center is the village of Lithuania), Yeremic, Zhukhovichskaya, Korelichskaya, Koshelevskaya, Krivoshinskaya, Lyubchanskaya, Mirskaya, Negnevichskaya, Novomyshskaya, Ostrovskaya, Pochapovskaya, Raychanskaya, Snovskaya, Stolovichskaya, Tsirinskaya, Chernikhovskaya (center - the village of Volnaya), Schorsovskaya, Yastrebinskaya (center - the village of Malokhovtsy) [1] .
History
Novogrudok county as part of the Slonim province of the Russian Empire was formed in 1793 after the 3rd division of the Commonwealth . In 1797 it was assigned to the Lithuanian province, in 1801 - to Grodno, in 1843 - to Minsk [2] . In 1920 he moved to Poland .
Population
According to the census of 1897, 247.3 thousand people lived in the county. Including Belarusians - 83.7%; Jews - 12.3%; Poles - 1.7%; Russians - 1.6%. In the county town of Novogrudok, 7887 people lived. [3]
