Distribution
There is a tuberous nutcracker in northern China , in Korea and Japan ( Hokkaido , Honshu , Shikoku , Kyushu islands) [2] . On the territory of the former USSR it is found in the Far East and Primorsky Territory . [one]
Description
Imago
The beetle reaches a length of 13-18 millimeters. The body is covered with golden and gray scales, often forming a marble pattern. It is painted in black or black-brown. [2]
Wireworms
The length of the wire reaches 30 mm. Prothoracic segment not shorter than the sum of the next two. The edges of the caudal segment site with five sharp chitinized tubercles. The external branches of the urogomph are up to two times larger than the internal. [one]
Ecology
Wireworms are predators living in forest soil and litter . [one]
