History
The territory of the farm once belonged to a landowner named Astakhov. The farm was originally located in a lowland on the right bank of the river, over time, the territory of the farm increased, and people began to settle on both banks of the river. Partly farms of Bochanka, Luganka, Mallorca were formed. The house of the landowner Astakhov was initially Luganka on the right side of the river. In the house with 4 large rooms a reed roof was made. The modern territory of the village also included those places where the Nikulin, Konkov, Muromka, Luganka, Bozhkov farms were located. The first official mention of the farm dates back to 1868. At that time, the Nizhny Astakhov farm was part of the Ponomarevsky volost of the Ust-Medveditsky district. There were 82 yards in the village, 266 men and 276 women lived. Then the farm Nizhny Astakhov became part of the Upper Bolshinsky volost. According to 1915, 833 people lived in this settlement. There were 111 households and 540 acres of land. Primary school and rural government worked. Among the peasants of the farm there were wealthy people who bought land plots.
After the October Revolution of 1917, land was taken from the landlords and given to the poor peasants. The Verkhne-Grekovsky Village Council was part of the Kashar, Kiev and Pervomaisky districts. Then he again became part of Kasharsky, in which he is still located. As of 1926, the Verkhne-Grekovsky farm was part of the Verkhne-Grekovsky village council. In 2005, after the liquidation of rural administrations, the village of Nizhny Astakhov became part of the Kiev settlement of the Kashar district of the Rostov region. It consists of the Second Kievsky farm, the village of Krasny Kolos , the Novoolkhovka farm, the Svetly village, the village of Shalaevka , the Third International farm, the Gavrilovka farm, the village of Verkhnegrekovo [2] .
