The flag of the city settlement Ozherelye of the Kashirsky municipal district of the Moscow region of the Russian Federation is an identification mark serving as the official symbol of the municipality.

The flag was approved on March 29, 2007 by the decision of the Council of Deputies of the city settlement Necklace No. 3/13 [1] and on July 6, 2007, it was entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 3477.
By the Law of the Moscow Region dated September 23, 2015 No. 146/2015-OZ [2] , all municipalities of the Kashira municipal district were transformed, by combining them, into the urban district of Kashira .
Description
“The flag of the city settlement Necklace is a rectangular panel with a 2: 3 aspect ratio, vertically divided into blue and red equal parts and bearing in the center the figures from the coat of arms of the settlement: a winged railway wheel yellow with orange shades in a green wreath.”
Justification of Symbols
Flag of the urban settlement Necklace is designed on the basis of the coat of arms of the urban settlement and the language of symbols and allegories reflects the historical, natural and economic features of the settlement.
A wreath - a necklace of oak leaves allegorically indicates the name of the city and its location on the site of dense oak forests. In addition, the wreath is a symbol of valor and glory.
The whole history of the urban settlement is inextricably linked with the railway. A large railway junction , a railway technical school, a locomotive and wagon depot - all this is reflected in the symbolism of the winged wheel similar in appearance to the emblem of the railway workers.
The wheel is a multi-valued symbol. It is a symbol of perpetual motion and progress, it is a symbol of the Sun, it is a symbol of success (the “wheel” of Fortune - the goddess of happiness and good luck).
Green, red and blue - the colors most often used in the coloring of railway cars and locomotives.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of exalted aspirations, devotion, rebirth.
Red color is a symbol of courage, life-affirming power and beauty, a holiday.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, magnanimity, wealth.
Green color symbolizes spring, health, nature, hope.
