Biography
Learned to play chess at the age of four. Pupil of the Youth Sports School-2 of the Kalinin District of St. Petersburg . Later, he studied at the Sports School No. 2. Among his mentors were Vladimir Alekseevich Luzgin, Valery Sergeyevich Popov and Sergey Vladimirovich Ivanov .
He won the youth championships of Russia in groups up to 12 and 16 years old. In the VI international tournament “Young Stars of the World” ( Kirishi , 2008) he came to the finish line first, the next year he took second place in the standings. He was the first in the individual and team standings following the results of the II summer Spartakiad of the youth of Russia ( Novaya Ladoga , 2010). As a member of the Russian national team (age category under 16 years), he took second place at the 13th World Youth Olympiad ( Mersin , 2008).
At international competitions: 61st festival “Petrovskaya Rook” ( Peterhof , 2007) - 4th; 65th festival "Peter Rook" (Peterhof, 2008) - 1st; 69th festival "Peter Rook" (Peterhof, 2009) - 2nd; Rilton Cup ( Stockholm , 2009/2010) - 6th; tournament A2 Aeroflot Open ( Moscow , 2010) - 10th; Oberwart (2010) - 1st; Rilton Cup (Stockholm, 2010/2011) - 2nd place.
In the team championship of Russia, he played for the Club named after Chigorina ”(St. Petersburg) [1] .
