Bedran Crimean ( lat. Pimpinella taurica ) is a biennial herb , a species of the genus Bedrac ( Pimpinella ) of the Umbrella family ( Apiaceae ).

Dissemination and ecology
The species range covers the southern coast of Crimea . Endemic .
It grows on stony and dry slopes, along the railroad, in wheat, in pine forests, in vineyards , in gardens, along the banks of aryks .
Biological description
Cylindrical root , about 0.5 cm thick half branched, with obliquely upward directed branches.
The lower leaves are oblong in outline, 10-17 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, on short petioles , gradually turning into the vagina embracing the stem, simply or almost twice as pinnate; primary lobes sessile, rounded or broadly ovate, 1.5–4 cm long, 1–2.5 cm wide, jagged at the edges or pinnately incised. Upper - smaller and cut into linear, sometimes almost filiform lobes, bare or slightly pubescent.
Umbrellas with 10-25 thin, unequal in length, rough-pubescent rays, with fruits somewhat compressed together; umbrellas in diameter about 1 cm. Wrapping and wrapping is absent. Petals are white, notched.
The fruit is ovoid, about 2 mm long.
