Chunsoft

Chunsoft ( Japanese チ ュ ン ソ フ ト tyunsofuto ) is a Japanese company with headquarters in Tokyo ( Shinjuku district), which develops computer games, primarily in the JRPG genre. Founded by programmer Koichi Nakamura in 1984 as a subsidiary of Enix . The most famous works are the Mystery Dungeon project and the first five parts of the Dragon Quest series . The name comes from a character named Chun, the protagonist of the very first Enix video game Door Door . According to 2010, the company employs forty-three people.
