Title
The name comes from the names of the founders of the village, the Temniki Tatar servicemen on the Atemarsky Aksyonov line. In the “Atemara tenna of 1669”, the Reiter of Syunbayko Aksyonov is mentioned, who served in the Saransk district and owned land there.
According to another version, Aksenovo - from the word Ak Su - white water.
Geography
Located on the river Elshanka, 10 km north-east of Saransk along the road R178 Saransk - Samara . 18 km from the district center Lyambir and 4 km from the railway station Bolshaya Elkhovka .
History
In 1869, according to the “List of Populated Places in the Penza Province”, there were 83 yards in the village of Aksenovo.
According to old-timers, Aksenovo was first settled by baptized Tatars, as there are separate burials of baptized Tatars. With the capture of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible in 1552, the Tatars were forcibly baptized [2] .
The name is an anthroponym: in the “Atemara tenth of 1669–1670” it is reported that Syunbayko Aksyonov served as a reiter in the Saransk district , had land there. In the List of Populated Places of the Penza Province (1869; according to 1864), Aksenovo is the official village of 83 yards in Saransk Uyezd. In the early 1930s. State Farm was created by him. Aksyonovo is the birthplace of the honored entrepreneur of the Republic of Moldova Sh. Z. Bikmaev. The village of Inyat (259 people, mainly Tatars) is included in Aksenovskaya village administration. He was born the doctor of philosophical sciences F. A. Ayzyatov, painter Kh.I. Bikbaev.
