History
As part of the army from June 22, 1941 to July 21, 1941, from September 11, 1941 to November 19, 1941 and from April 1, 1942 to November 20, 1942 .
On June 22, 1941, it was based at the airport in Panevezys , having I-153 aircraft available. With the outbreak of war, he underwent heavy bombing. From June 22, 1941 he began military operations, until June 24, 1941 he made 103 sorties, apparently relocating to the Riga area, leaving about 30 aircraft at the airport. July 21, 1941 set aside for reorganization.
In mid-September 1941, with 19 LaGG-3 aircraft in service, it was transferred to the 7th Army Air Force and operated until mid-November 1941 in the Petrozavodsk direction. November 19, 1941 again set aside for reformation.
He started fighting again only on April 1, 1942 on the North-Western Front , operating in the area of ββDemyansk, Staraya Russa . By the summer of 1942, there were Yak-1 fighters in the regiment
At the end of November 1942 disbanded.
