Petrova Church in Rasa ( Serb. Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Petrov Church - Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul) is an Orthodox church in Serbia , part of the complex of monuments of Old Ras , a UNESCO World Heritage Site [1] .

The temple is located on a hill two kilometers north of the city of Novi Pazar . The time of its construction is estimated VIII - the beginning of the IX century , it is the oldest surviving churches in Serbia [2] . On the walls of the church preserved frescoes of the XIII century [3] .
Around the church there is a cemetery with late Roman and Slavic burials, the ruler of Serbia Petar Goinikovich is buried in the temple itself. It is known that Saint Sava , the first head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, was baptized in this church .
