Biography

Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University . In 1979 he graduated with honors from the international department.

From 1979 to 1990, a TASS employee, including for almost six years, was a TASS correspondent in Poland.

From 1991 to 1997, he worked at the Interfax news agency , including the director of the operational political information department.

From 1997 to 1998, the press secretary of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation B.E. Nemtsov.

From 1999 to 2008, he headed the PR and advertising services of the Ministry of Railways of Russia, the Slavneft oil company, which is part of Mezhregiongaz , a Gazprom company, and the Guta group.

In 1994, by the Decree of the President of Russia, he was awarded the Order “For Personal Courage” for the performance of an official duty in conditions associated with the risk to life. As a correspondent for the Interfax agency, on October 3–4, 1993, during the tragic events in Moscow, he broadcast radio reports from the residence of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, including during the assault on the building by units of the regular army and special forces.

In 2008, as the head of the creative team, she was awarded a diploma of the Silver Archer National Prize for the Development of Public Relations for the launch of the Golden Island project on the Moscow development market.

In 2009, the publisher Sport and Culture published the novel No Anesthesia.

Since 2011, he has been working as Deputy General Director of the Russian newspaper .
