“ Ritusamhara ” ( Ṛtusaṃhāra IAST , Skt. Времен “Seasons”) is a Sanskrit lyric poem, attributed to the Indian poet Kalidasa . [1] Although this is the author’s earliest poem, inferior to the rest of his works in originality and artistic power, it nevertheless demonstrates some aspects of his talent. [2] This small epic consists of six chapters, each of which contains a lyrical description of one of the Indian seasons. Ritusamhara is a vivid example of this kind of literature. [3]
