Biography
Lemka Elbuskievna Barakhoeva is the only Ingush woman to whom the title of Hero of Socialist Labor was awarded. This high rank was conferred on persons who distinguished themselves in various fields of the national economy, science, and technology, and who achieved great merit before the Soviet state. Participation in public life and attention to people, they complemented their image of workers.
Lemka was born in 1918 in with. Sagopshi (now - Malgobek district ). Early left without parents. Grew together with cousins. Life as a whole was not easy. Then marriage, children.
When her husband died at the front, even harder everyday life began for her. She became the nurse of the whole family, she brought up young children alone. Lemka suffered the hardships of the deportation of the people (1944-1957). The years of her youth were filled with labor. In the Kustanai region, with. Kosterkovka Shcherbetsky area, she first crossed the threshold of the farm. Since then, she has forever connected her fate with the profession of milkmaids.
After returning to her homeland in 1957, she worked for almost 20 years at the Nazranovsky state farm. Home, children, cares, work. And so every day. She worked diligently, she treated animals with a soul. Quickly began to increase milk yield, so much so that in 1964 she became the record holder for milk yield in the USSR. But for Lemka these were ordinary everyday life. Not very talkative, she just worked in her place, remaining a modest hard worker.
Lemka Barakhoeva possessed not only professional skills, but also a certain natural gift, female intuition and knowledge of wise folk traditions. In addition to fulfilling her family responsibilities, she managed to engage in community service and the transfer of experience to young colleagues.
Soon for special services Lemk Barakhoev was recommended to the ranks of the members of the CPSU. Her participation in public life gradually became part of her life. She was a delegate to the XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV congresses of the CPSU with a casting vote. She was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the VIIth convocation of 1966-1970 and the VIIIth convocation of 1970-1974. Today it is possible to simply list the stages of her life. Lemka Barakhoeva improved the conditions and quality of work of her employees, and at the same time, traveling to other republics, studied experience, shared hers. Realizing that the technique solves many issues on the farm, she acquired it step by step.
At the same time, Lemka was always decorated with restraint, a barely noticeable noble smile. In her work team, where she worked until retirement, she was his soul. At the school where the children studied, she was a member of the parent committee. In the Chechen-Ingush ASSR and beyond, Lemka was recognizable.
At the same time, Lemka Barakhoeva was a member of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions .
People knew about Lemka Barakhoeva. She was respected. The portrait of Barakhoeva was painted by the famous artist Ruslan Mamilov.
She was awarded the highest awards of the USSR: the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of the October Revolution and many medals.
