"A rectangular yellow cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, bearing the arms of the coat of arms: two horizontal crimson stripes with a white grid (each 2/9 width wide of the cloth) and on top of them gray stones laid in two triangles with bases along the shaft and free the edges adjoining tops in the center of a panel ".
Symbolization Justification
The flag was developed on the basis of the coat of arms of a city settlement.
Khorlovo has a centuries-old history - the first mention of the village of Khorlovskaya in the scribal books dates back to the 16th century. However, the territory of the modern urban settlement itself was settled much earlier by local Finnish tribes and the Slavs who came here, the Krivichi . For many centuries, the stories of local residents are reflected on the flag of the settlement by a yellow (golden) field - a symbol of wealth, stability, vitality, sunlight.
The development of Khorlov land in the last two centuries is inextricably linked with the emergence and operation of industrial enterprises.
In the middle of the 19th century, the Bronnitsky merchant Ivan Demin bought a plot of land here and built a small weaving workshop, which by the beginning of the 20th century had grown into a rather large factory. The modern enterprise specializes in the production of technical fabrics for the production of drive belts, conveyor belts, as well as the widest range of polyester, polyamide and combined filter fabrics for various industries. On the flag weaving production is allegorically depicted by two crimson stripes filled with white mesh - technical fabric stripes.
In 1922, in the village of Vlasovo (modern micro-district Phosphoritny), the development of deposits of phosphate rock began to develop. Today, the quartz sand is being developed at the established technical base. Gray stones symbolize the development of phosphorite ores and quartz sand, which play a huge role in the development of Khorlovo throughout the 20th century.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and understanding.
Crimson color ( purple ) - a symbol of nobility, glory and dignity.
