Located on the border of the Republic of Khakassia and the Kemerovo region , being for the last highest point.
On the slopes - dark coniferous taiga . On dissected slopes with a height of 1300 m or more - mountain tundra , passing into the nival zone . At the top, snowfields accumulate. At the foot of numerous Karov lakes.
