Description
Females have a length of 18-22 mm, workers - 10-15 mm and males - 12-15 mm. It is similar in color to Schrenk's bumblebee , but the back and tergites of the abdomen are in one-colored reddish or buffy hairs, without the admixture of black ones.
Distribution
Widely distributed in the Palaearctic, but is rare in all parts of the range. Europe , the Urals and Siberia , except for the polar regions, Western Asia , the Caucasus , Kazakhstan , the Tien Shan , Mongolia , northern China, the Amur Region, Primorsky Territory.
