Length 55 km. Source - groundwater outlet on the southern slope of the Batenevsky ridge at an altitude of 1000 m. The direction of the current is from north to south. The nature of the current is flat, the valley is wide. The density of the river network is 0.2-0.5 cm / km²; the downstream flow modulus varies from 5 to 1 l / s · km².
Tributaries: right - pp. Saigach , Sorya ; there are no left tributaries. Localities in the valley: Sorsk , paragraphs. Erbinskaya , Misty , Ust-Byur . The Abakan - Krasnoyarsk railway (through the city of Achinsk ) runs along the valley along the riverbed. In the valley is located the Sora Molybdenum Combine , the Tumanny sanatorium. Exits of natural radon waters attract a large number of vacationers who want to improve their health.
According to the ulus of the Khazas of the Tazmins (Tazmin-aaly) on the Pyyur-Sukh river (Byurya), the Tazminskaya culture of the Late Neolithic (beginning of 3 thousand BC) was called [2] [3] .
